marron 5I have been meaning to buy Marron 5′ lastest CD – Wont Be Soon Before Long – even before I found out that they will be having a major concert here in the Philippines.

I do admit that at first, I did not dig their sound on this sophomore album (with the first single “Makes You Wonder”). But after a while, I began to move my head and tap my fingers every time I hear that song… And surprised as I was, I found out that I am liking the songs… specially when “wont go home without you” came out!

Checked the CD in the mall a few times already. Price tag is still steep at P450. I can still wait a couple more weeks. :)

The second CD that I want to buy is the latest from Matchbox Twenty – Exile on Mainstream! The carrier single for this Greatest hits CD is “How far We’ve Come”, which also has a very cool music video.

Being said that this is a greatest hits CD, I’m sure the ever loyal fans of Matchbox Twenty (like myself) will grab a copy of this for the addition of their collection. Price tag? P450.. same same same.. :)

This is a very nice album for all Orange and Lemons speaking for both the fans and not-so fans. Congratulations to the group (and I hope I’m invited to the celebration party! ;) You guys are one rockin’ Pinoy Band!

This is another themed album just like Eraserhead’s Fruitcake, Bryan Adams ‘A Day Like Today’ and of course the greatest album of all time, The Beatles “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”.

Being a very big Beatles fan myself, I listened to Moonlane Gardens looking for any Beatles connections in the songs – both in lyrics and in melody – because we all know that the geniuses behind Orange and Lemons are also big Beatles fan (right?).
