Untraceable

This 2008 movie (which was also dowloaded and not seen on cinema), stars Diane Lane.

If you never seen the movie trailer of this film, I suggest you head over to Utube and watch it. Why? No reason.

Anyway, the movie, Untraceable, is about a serial killer who uses a website and viewer’s participation in killing his victim. Untraceable meaning the killer can’t be hunt down through his website, it’s IP address, it’s domain name, ISP which is impossible i should say.

Anyway ulit, Untraceable is a 2008 thriller starring Diane Lane, Joseph Cross, Billy Burke, and Colin Hanks. It was directed by Gregory Hoblit and is distributed by Screen Gems. The film is a social commentary on Internet schadenfreude

Ruins

After watching Vantage Point last night, (come on, it’s a Sunday) there were 2 more movies i’ve seen… Untraceable and The Ruins… both semi-gross.. semi-eewww… lol

Ruins is  a story of 4 friends who are in a mexican vacation. They got invited by a  man to an excavation/dig in some place with old ruins.. that’s where the ’scary’ part begins…

Apparently there are killer vines in the pyramids ruins (the same place where Indiana Jones’ Crystal Skull I think, lol. better check utube videos)

Vantage Point

I first saw this film when I was commuting (to Ortigas? Market Market?) to submit my TOR for T3lus… or was it from Navit9ire to Ortigas.. either, it’s when I got my TOR.

On that bus, I saw the scene from the movie (photo above) where Howard Lewis (Forest Whitaker), is shooting his video camera and thinking that he captured something important on the assassination…

Just another movie, right?

What captured my attentions was that, everything rewind back starts again on a different perspective… this time from the US President’s view.

I like the idea of the movie… It has always fascinated of what others are thinking or seeing and this movie kind of satisfy that curiosity. (There’s eve an episode on the animated cartoon The Simpson).

I’m rating Vantage Point an 8 of 10.

Casino Royale

Casino Royale is the latest James Bond franchise to be shown on the silver screen! It stars Daniel Craig and Bond 007.

The movie was first shown 2006, but my wife and I only saw it last night… I don’t even understand the story because of my laptop’s very poor sound speaker. I just enjoyed all those action and chasing scenes and the poker! Betting millions my friend!

Will probably see it again at the office or somewhere… I could even bright myself to give you guys a qoutes from the movie.

2 Matrixes

For the past two nights, I saw the movie “The Matrix” and “The Matrix: Reloaded”… I already saw the three movies before, but I want to understand (again) better the great story of the whole trilogy, that’s why I watched it again.

I was going to talk about it after watching each one, but i got lazy and decided to finish the 3 movie before putting it here.. this is the last night and I haven’t watched “Matrix Revolution” yet, oh well.. probably sa bahay na.. harharhar..

The Incredible HULK

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!
Saw this great new Hulk movie today, Friday 13th at SM Megamall Cinema 10, after the job offer contract signing.

061608 – and here it is..

When I first saw the movie trailer for this new Hulk movie (he talked by the way on this movie “Hulk smashed!” ‘it’ said), I thought that Edward Norton is a poor candidate for “The Hulk”. Why? Well, he’s ’small’ for the role.. , probably because, Eric Bana is still fresh from my mind from the first movie.

Yep, this is the second one. I thought this would be a different version of the Hulk but it turns out that it is actually a part 2, a sequel of the first one by Eric Bana. (I remember Christopher Reeve.. he was qoutes “sequel, change the character, that’s a great idea”.. he was pertaining to The Batman franchise) well it’s still applicable here, in Hulk.

Anyway, this second Hulk is somehow better. It’s a little ‘dirtier’ graphically… more realistic this time. Hulk here is more not-comics-like. The story line is ok and Ed norton did the part satisfactorily.. yeah, liv tyler too!

Second Wrong Turn (Wrong Turn 2)

Saw the sequel for “Wrong Turn” last night with my wife. “Wrong Turn 2″ stars Erica Leerhsen, Henry Rollins and Texas Battle. It is a sequel to the 2003 horror film Wrong Turn which starred Desmond Harrington and Eliza Dushku

In summary, the idea behind Wrong Turn 2, is that all 8 casts are doing a Survivor-like reality TV show but the cannibals from the first movie (the remaining at least) butchers and kills the contestants.

And just like Part 1, this movie is “eewwww”! lol

And to think that I’ve also dowloaded Wrong Turn 2“! The first movie “Wrong Turn” made my stomach twist and turn!

My wife and I watched this 2003 thriller/suspense movie about six people who found themselves trapped in the woods of West Virginia, hunted down by mutated, disfigured men not to mention cannibals.

Not much to say, I can point you to Wikipedias page if you want to learn more.. coz I agree that the movie is more like “Hills have eyes” which I’ve seen first before of this.. I thought HIlls have eyes took Wrong turn’s plot/idea, but it was the other way around.

Watching Rose Red… From Yuvutu? No!

One quick post.. I’m currently watching “Rose Red”, a TV special written specially by Stephen King!

Am I watching this from Yuvutu? No way no! from Badjojo?! Most absolutely not! I donwloaded this from the internet!

RIP Rudy Fernandez

Movie star, Rudy Fernandez dies at 55 at his house today around 6:00am.

Our deepest condolences to Ms. Lorna Tolentino and family.

Such a sad day.
