Yeah, looks like there’s no movie update for today… So, there’s no regular stuff we do on each post.. of course the ‘regular’ thing we do to this blog is still not that ‘regular’.. remember our plan to put in little Yuotube clips? That’s still not happening.. :D

Other regular thing is the quotes… so there will be no movie qoutes for today.

Anyway, I will be bringing home tons of bitorrent donwloaded mp3 movies home. Lois and I will probably be watching a couple of it at home.

Till then! Cheers!

face offMy heart breaks every time I watch the very first scene of this movie… the carousel scene. Who wouldn’t? Go and see the movie again if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

My favorite line in the movie? Or the line that stuck in my head? … “I want his face, off.”

There are other qoutes in the movie that I love… more to that later.

Face Off is one of my favorite film of all time… (I think I said that before on Click, which is also true). This 1997 movie, I think is where I first known either John Travolta or Nicholas Cage. I’m not sure anymore which one is which.

kissing a foolJust finished watching the movie “Kissing A Fool”.

It was ‘Ross Gellar’ who made me watch this movie in the first place. Yes, the movie stars David Schwimmer (Max), Jason Lee (Jay) and Mili Avital (Sam).

And so the story goes like this.. Jay and Max have been best friends since childhood. Jay was heartbroken from his last relationship and is afraid to love again. He set up his best friend, Max, to his editor Sam and in a short period of time fell in love and decided to get married.

Although in as he is, Max asked Jay if he could do a little test to find out if Sam is faithful to him before they get married. Jay refuses to do it, but he was convinced anyway. But the whole thing turned bad, as both Sam and Jay fall in love…

Great thing about this story is that, for me, I didn’t know who gets to marry who until you see the end of the movie. Overall, it’s an ‘ok’ movie.. a typical Filipino-will-copy-style-movie (if not yet copied).

Here is my favorite qoutes qoute from the movie..

True Love can not be found where it does not truly exists nor can it be hidded where it truly does.” – Maxx Abbitt

yuotube qoutesYuotube Youtube on my Movies/Music/Money Blog? Yep, I’ve been thinking about it for a while now.

Would it be cool to have a video clip from yuotube of the movie I just seen? Or a music video from Yuotube of the most recent CD I bought? I say, that would be uber cool!

I can see it now! Whenever I have a new movie post, I normally have a qoutes section and now with this Yuotube section, we can actually see which scene in the movie the qoutes are located! Greatness! Same goes for the CD and video clip!

So, what yah guys think? I say Go for it! :)

click movieSaw Adam Sandler’s “Click” today… It’s still on the top of my favorite movies of all time. It still has this tingly feeling when I watched it.. specially at the scene when he found out that his father died.

I also would like to share that the first time I saw this movie, I called my Dad abroad and told him I missed him. Some movies can really reach you in the right spot… This particular one really, really touched me.

Here are some of my favorite qoutes from the movie… some funny, some touching…

  • “My schmeckel got bigger now that I’m older, just so you guys know that.”
  • Donna Newman: Will you still love me in the morning?
Michael Newman: Forever and ever, babe
  • Oh, no, that’s not wrestling. That’s… Something you shouldn’t know about for another 10 to 30 years. Ten for you.
  • Ted: [Ted starts to leave, crying. Michael rewinds the scene] I love you, son.
    [he rewinds it again]
    Ted: I love you, son.
    [again]
    Ted: I love you, son.
Michael Newman: [pauses it] I love you.
    [kisses his cheek]
    Michael Newman: I’ll miss ya… you know that… good-bye.
  • Family… Family… Family comes first.

barney and friendsI’ve been writing and writing about movies I’ve seen, or the music I’m listening to, or TV series that I’m watching for the last couple of months now but I’ve overlooked one TV show that’s I’ve been regularly seeing for the past couple of weeks! Barney and Friends!

My son is a regular viewer of the Barney and friends show (if you can call consider DVD). We bought his this 30 something all-in-1 DVD 9 of Barney and Friends TV episodes and had him watch that during the morning and afternoon..

I have to say that those episodes really help toddlers learn the basic knowledge of growing up. Although the Barney and Friends show is not totally responsible why my Matthew knows number, read and write the alphabet and can count now from 1 through 30 It was still a great help!

I highly recommend these kinds of education DVD for every parents who wants their child lean… (and qoutes from Barney and Friends comes after…):

“Abc, and 123″ – barney opening credit.

high fidelityStill watching “High Fidelity” right now.. it’s at 1:49…

It stars Jonn Cusack.

I really can’t say much about the movie.. yet.. It’s all about some top 5 things.. :)

Top 5 memorable breakups and others…

Some qoutes from the movie…

“What comes first, music or misery?”

“So what am I going to do now? Just keep jumping from rock to rock for the rest of my life till there aren’t any rock left? Should I bolt every time there a feeling in my gut every time I met someone new?”

“That other girl, or other women.. They’re just fantasies.. They’re always seems pretty great because there aren’t problems.”

“I’m tired of the fantasy. It doesn’t really exist.. I never seem to get tired of you.”

heartbreak kid“Fuck Me!” oooppss, excuse the language… That’s the last line spoken from the movie “Heartbreak Kid” starring the ever funny Ben Stiller!

There are other qoutes from that movie that we’ll post later, but let me post the story first… :)

The “Heartbreak Kid” is a story of a man, Eddie, Eddie Cantrow… a man who is so uncertain of his life. He got married only because he was pressured to get married. He met this girl Lila (played by Malin Akerman) when she was mugged on a street.

When she was going to be transferred to Germany, he impulsively decided to marry her just to stop her from going. The whole meetup and re-met scenes are cute and funny.

love actuallyFunny, Hilarious and ‘ouch’, it’s just Love, Actually.

Actually, Love Actually (jeez, in one sentence?) a movie that has not just one story but quite a handful of it. It’s like five four stories in one movie that are somehow intertwined.

The movie stars Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney,  Emma Thompson, Allan Rickman, Keira Knightley, Rowan Atkinson.

It’s really hard to sum up a movie this ‘wide’.. well at least for me.. words are limited in my case.

Qoutes from Love Actually? I’ll do it… Will update this soon for that.. :)

silence of the lambs jodi fosterI have been planning and has been looking forward in watching this (classic) movie ever since I can remember, but haven’t until yesterday. And I was glad I finally did. The movie is great! So there’s no question why Silence of the Lambs won 5 Oscars and other  39 wins & 27 nominations.

Silence of the Lambs for me is an 8 out of 10 on my record.

Silence of the Lambs stars Sir Anthony Hopkins as Dr. Hannibal Lecter and the very lovely (my crush) Jodie Foster as Clarice Starling.

The story revolves around capturing a serial killer knows as “Buffalo Bill”. A young FBI agent must confide in an incarcerated and manipulative killer to receive his help on catching Buffalo Bill,  who skins his victims.
